The award-winning Traxxas Slash 2WD short-course race truck is one of the most diverse RC cars available and offers off-road action to all - from beginners looking for a fun, fast and durable car to start with, to pro racers in the Slash championships across the globe. The 2WD version of the Traxxas Slash is used on many of the Slash racing series' and is generally a bit harder to handle than the 4x4 version. It's not nearly as fast in the terrain - but if you don't plan to do much terrain or enjoy the increased driftability and challenge of getting the driving just right, the 2WD is an incredibly rewarding RC car to drive.

The Traxxas Slash lets you experience high-speed racing at the track or in your own backyard. The rear-wheel drive Slash is purpose built to fly over jumps and rip full-throttle through the turns. The 4-wheel independent suspension has been carefully tuned to replicate the real world driving and handling experience as closely as possible. The true to scale tires provide just the right amount of bite to balance grip and drifting. The long travel suspension and oil-filled shocks easily absorb jumps and rough terrain and the unique chassis design provides huge ground clearance to drive over grass, rocks and other obstacles. The tires use advanced tread design and sophisticated rubber compounds to provide incredible grip off-road with enough versatility to also perform well on concrete and asphalt.

Titan 12T Power

With the Titan 12T motor the 1/10 Slash is offers incredible performance that allows the car to really rip, yet is still virtually maintenance free. The integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through vent tunnels molded into the motor plate to keep temperatures down. A cooler running motor equates to faster speeds, longer runtime, and extended motor life. The XL-5 Electronic Speed Control offers high current handling, EZ-Set® one-button setup, and smooth high-frequency control. Once reserved for high-end replacement ESCs, the XL-5 comes standard with three drive profiles, low voltage detection, thermal shutdown protection, gold-plated connectors, and incredibly low resistance. The patented Traxxas High-Current Connector opens the door for unrestricted current flow with today's high-power batteries.

The car is delivered with a 4 amp charger and a 8.4V 3000mAh NiMH battery. We recommend upgrading to EZ-Peak fast chargers and purchasing extra batteries with a capacity of minimum 3000mAh for longer drive times between re-charging.
