Tamiyas Comical cars are not designed not fast laptimes in mind, but (more importantly) for maximizing the amount fun, that can be had with an RC car.

The Tamiya Comical Hornet is an homage to the legendary, original Tamiya Hornet from the 1980's, which is still one of the best-selling RC buggys from Tamiya. The Comical Hornet comes with it's own driver, wearing the red and blue Tamiya colours.

Tamiya WR-02CB - Designed for fun

The rear-wheel drive Tamiya WR-02CB chassis is designed specifically for the Comical models and comes with partially assembled motor and gearbox to get you on the road as quickly as possible. The rear-wheel drive, high center of gravity and built-in wheelie bar means the Comical Hornet can pull cool, long wheelies. CVA oil dampers and long suspension arms means the car feels right at home on both gravel, grass and tarmac allowing you to have fun no matter the surface.

With help from guards both side and underneath the car, the Tamiya Comical Hornet can take some bashing and crashing as well. Perfect for both experienced drivers looking for an entertaining ride, and beginners getting in to the hobby.

What You Need:

• An ESC. We recommend a Hobbywing QuicRun 1060.
• 7.2 volt NiMH battery pack and charger
• 2-Channel radio with servo
• x4 AA Batteries for Transmitter
• Tamiya PS Spray paint for body. Tamiya recommends PS-5 Black

NOTE: Must use round type stick battery pack. Square shaped batteries will not fit the battery compartment

Note: Bubble front tires from previous comical buggy releases are not compatible with this kit.
