Tamiya Toyota Supra GR TOM's GT500 Racer
The wild Toyota Supra had enormous influence in the Japanese GT500 series in the 90s, probably best known in the Castrol TOMS colors that many know from the Gran Turismo games.
When the new GR Supra came on the market, Supra and TOMs returned to the GT500 series together, with this wild GR Supra, which has a wild widebody bodywork from the new version GT500 racer and is dominated by the wide fenders, a huge rear spoiler and the large air intakes in the bumpers. The remote-controlled racer comes with a polycarbonate body with many separately molded parts that ensure a very high level of detail. Carbon stickers for the bonnet and spoiler are also included.
Built on the TT-02 chassis
Tamiya TOM's GR Supra is based on the Tamiya TT-02 touring car chassis. The chassis is one of the most versatile from Tamiya, and it offers plenty of speed, sharp handling and great durability, making it incredibly suitable for both beginners and more experienced RC drivers. The TT-02 chassis features axle-driven four-wheel drive and double wishbone suspension with slick racing tires that provide quick, responsive steering through the turns. The suspension has many options for adjustments, which makes it both easy and fun to get the driving characteristics exactly as you want them.
Another advantage of the TT-02 chassis is the almost endless possibilities for tuning and optimizing your car. Whether you want to give your car more power, better handling or looks, there are a host of upgrades available to suit your exact needs.
