The Max8 ESC has been relaunched along with a range of new motors for 1/8 scale vehicles. The new parts now have a sensor, which helps give a much better feeling of control and response from the car, just as there is now significantly better cooling and the option of telemetry and Turbo Boost function. The ESC can handle 3S-6S LiPo batteries and has an XT90 connector.

The set comes with a Hobbywing LED G2 Program Card. If you want additional options for settings, you can purchase a Multifunction LCD Program Card or OTA Programmer Bluetooth module, which opens up more setting and adjustment options (purchased separately).

High reliability and durability

The new Max8 and EzRun motors provide around 25% more power than the previous generation, but are also more durable, stay much cooler while driving and are even more resistant to water and dust. Cooling has been a large focus area for Hobbywing, so the Max8 nui stays 25% colder, compared to the previous generation. This means better durability and that you can push it even harder!

Great flexibility and versatility

The ESC has a strong burst and a stable output, so the vehicle can perform various movements without problems, from aggressive starts and wheelies, 720 degree flip, high speed on long stretches or flying over slopes. There is always plenty of power! In addition, the driver can adjust relevant parameters for smooth and soft start-up.

Works in all weather conditions

The waterproof and dustproof ESC approved to IP-67 standards so it can be used in all weather conditions, regardless of whether the track is covered in dust, gravel, snow or puddles.

Built-in BEC

The built-in BEC has a max. output current of up to 15A and switchable output voltage (6V / 7.4V / 8.4V). It can drive various servos and high voltage servos with ease and give the driver a great sense of control.

Advanced and safe electronic switch

The electronic switch has a lifetime of over 50,000 switching on and off and has a completely waterproof, dustproof and shockproof design. It solves problems such as stuck pipe and rusted contact points caused by dust and moisture, which automatically shuts off after violent shocks (like landing after a jump) that conventional mechanical switches can often have.

Connect and use

Standard 6.5mm gold plated connectors on the output end of the ESC are perfectly compatible with motor connectors in many popular 1/8 scale monster trucks such as TRAXXAS and HPI. In addition, the TRAXXAS or DEANS / T connector has been soldered to the input end of the ESC for various battery connectors. To match the mounting holes on the TRAXXAS chassis, we have added some mounting holes for the ESC enclosure to match.

Wide applicability

ESC provides the optimal upgrade solution for many popular 1/8 scale monster trucks such as Traxxas Sledge, HPI Savage and Arrma Kraton 1/8. This also applies to other trucks and buggies in 1/8 scale.
