When you use a credit card online, you can file an objection and get your money back, if you can demonstrate that:
- you have not received your order
- your credit card has been used fraudulently by someone else
- an incorrect amount has been withdrawn from your account, without your prior permission.
- you have cancelled your purchase before having received it (e.g. If you have refused to accept the package or pick it up at the post office).
You can file an objection by contacting the issuer of your credit card, which would often be your bank. The Bank must without any further assessment of the objection return the money to you.
There are no excesses on your part in the event that your credit card has been fraudulently used in a webshop that uses SSL in its payment system. Thus you are better protected than in the physical world, where you have an excess of €150 if your credit card is abused.
Our administration system is structured in such a way that we cannot withdraw an amount that is higher than what you have approved.
